PRESENTATION
The Vidal i Barraquer Mental Health University Institute (Ramon Llull University) and the IMAGINA– Centre for Mentalization Applications, both institutions in Barcelona, are honored to announce the INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON MENTALIZATION-BASED TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND FAMILIES June 29 and 30 2023, in Barcelona, with the collaboration of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
A unique opportunity to listen and learn from some of the most outstanding international experts in the clinical and research field of Mentalization-Based Treatment for Children, Adolescents and Families, as well as to enjoy the fabulous city of Barcelona.
The Congress will address the work with children adolescents and families from the MBT model, inviting specialists to dialogue between the perspectives of the clinical practice and research, both essential disciplines for our field.
The venue for the Congress will be the Barcelona Science Museum Cosmocaixa. Seating is limited, so registration will be accepted on a strict order of registration request through the congress website ,from the moment registrations opens.

POSTER SUBMISSION
General guidelines for poster presentations
- The poster must be written and presented in English or Spanish.
- The title should be the same as in the submitted abstract.
- The poster should be a visual presentation of your submitted abstract.
- Results should be in line with those originally submitted in your abstract.
- The message that your poster contains should be clear and understandable without the
requirement of oral explanation. If relevant, methods should be presented simply and concisely. - Please note that accepted poster presenters still need to register and to pay for the Congress registration.
Poster presentation procedure
- Poster presentations will be displayed during the poster sessions of the Congress in the Poster Display Area in A0 or A1 size (A0 size is 841mm x 1189mm and A1 size is 841 x 594mm).
- You will have to bring a printed copy of the poster and are responsible for hanging your poster. We will provide further information about the hanging of the poster following acceptance.
- One of authors, preferably the lead author, must be present in front of their poster at the scheduled time during the poster presentation. This will allow you the opportunity to talk with delegates about your poster and answer questions regarding your work.

PAYMENT
Registrations will not be processed without payment. Full payment in euros should be received before the corresponding deadline; otherwise, the preferential rate will not be granted.
Payment by credit card is preferred. For online registration please log on the website. It is advisable for the registrant, prior to registering, to check with their credit card provider or bank, since many debit or credit cards have some limitations with regard to international transactions, and require a previous authorization for the payment to be made.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICIES
Refund of registration fees: 30% administrative charge will be applied if the cancellation is notified in written to the secretariat before May 28th, 2023. After this date, no cancellations will be refunded. All refunds will be paid after the congress.
